Feasibility

Anyone who improves their house, puts on an extension or who develops land for the purpose of turning a profit is a developer. When requested we assist developers in identifying sites and putting forth a conceptual proposal to demonstrate the potential of a site. Proteus employs the latest 3D and BIM technology to enable each projects' potential to be understood.

The advantage of this is that developers (or home owners) may purchase (or option) the site based on this information and already have a good idea as to what they can achieve on the site. We do this because we understand the nature of the business.

The project included alterations and addditions to over 16,580 sq.m of floor area. This included alterations to and rationalising the pre-existing 275 rooms and increasing their net area.

The zinc roof curves and drips down the facade. The modern material transitions into shading for windows and curved elements uniquely identifying this building as the entrance into the CBD.

The design work for the hotel involved two commissions. The first involved the addition of a floor of rooms and the second was the addition of 6 levels onto the existing building.
